Google Blogoscoped is a blog authored by Philipp Lenssen (born 1977) covering the search engine company Google since 2003.
Blogoscoped reports mainly on product releases but also offers tips and tutorials and tracks any projects of the Mountain View, California company. While the blog concentrates on Google, it has a "Contains 80% Google" stamp, representing the fact that Lenssen also writes about other things that interest him including other search engines, web development, global affairs and even comic book characters.
Lenssen, from Stuttgart, Germany, and co-editor Tony Ruscoe write the vast majority of the posts. In 2006 Lenssen also wrote the book '55 Ways to Have Fun with Google'. The book was 'born out' of the Google Blogoscoped blog and is available under the Creative Commons.
In April 2008, Lenssen published the book 'Google Apps Hacks'. It presents hacks, workarounds and undocumented tips for Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar and other Google applications.
